Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has issued a fresh warning as fears of a wider regional war and possible U.S. ground operations continue to mount. IRGC Ground Forces Commander Mohammad Karami said Iran's forces remain on full combat readiness and warned that any military "miscalculation" would trigger a decisive response. Speaking during a visit to operational areas in northwestern Iran, Karami said the Hamzeh Seyed al-Shohada Base was prepared to confront both foreign enemies and armed groups threatening Iran's security. He also claimed Iran's military possessed the capability to inflict overwhelming losses on any invading force. The warning comes amid heightened tensions between Iran and the United States, with Iranian officials also claiming U.S. forces have repositioned military bases in the region following recent Iranian missile strikes.
