Israel Promises Probe After IDF Soldier Calls Gaza ‘Our Land’, Hoists Flag On Palestinian Beach

The Israeli military has promised a probe after an IDF soldier, along with others, hoisted the Israeli flag on a beach in Gaza and called the Palestinian region “our land”. IDF said that it expects its soldiers to act in appropriate manner, and promised to “look into the incident”. The Israeli soldier, holding a captain rank, is leading a group of soldiers who are part of IDF’s ground invasion of Gaza.
