J&K to host G-20 meetings: First major global summit after Modi Govt's 370 move

In a significant development, Jammu and Kashmir will be hosting the meetings of the G-20 next year. From December, India will hold Presidency of the G-20 (strategic platform connecting the world’s major economies). This will be the first major int'l summit to be held in J&K after Modi Govt's big 2019 move (Article 370 abrogated). New Delhi will set the G-20 agenda, organise the summit & host meetings with ministers, officials & civil society.
