Amethi campaign trail: BJP’s Smriti Irani dons firefighter avatar

Union Minister Smriti Irani on Sunday helped Amethi villagers dousing bush fire in fields. The blaze broke out in farm fields in Purab Dwara village. The Union Minister assisted fire fighting operations by drawing water from hand-pump and filling up buckets. She also met the locals who were affected by the damage. Smriti Irani is Bharatiya Janata Party's Lok Sabha candidate from Amethi. She is contesting against Congress chief Rahul Gandhi. Amethi will vote in the fifth phase of polling on May 6.
