Smriti Irani dedicated her victory to party workers who lost their lives in Kerala & Bengal. She defeated Rahul Gandhi in the Amethi Lok Sabha constituency. “I'm happy Rahul ji expressed his faith on PM Modi's leadership. I express my gratitude towards the people of Amethi.” said Smriti. While addressing a press conference, Congress president Rahul Gandhi congratulated Irani for her victory. “I would like to congratulate Smriti Irani for winning. Amethi has chosen her and I would want that she takes care of it with love and responsibility,” he said.
