A grenade was lobbed at a polling station in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama on the day that 50 constituencies voted across 7 states in phase 5 of the ongoing Lok Sabha elections. Pulwama falls under Anantnag parliamentary constituency where voting took place in 3 phases. This is the first instance of a terror attack on a polling station in Jammu and Kashmir in the current polls. Security forces cordoned off the area after the explosion. No casualties have been reported so far.
