POONAM MAHAJAN INTERVIEW I ‘Modi Tsunami will destroy nepotism in politics’

Ahead of phase 4 of the ongoing Lok Sabha elections, BJP's Poonam Mahajan speaks to Hindustan Times about fending off the Congress challenge in her constituency of Mumbai North Central in Maharashtra. Mahajan will be facing off against Priya Dutt, daughter of veteran actor and Congress leader late Sunil Dutt. The contest will be keenly watched since it involves daughters of two political stalwarts, since Poonam is the daughter of BJP leader late Pramod Mahajan. Commenting on the Opposition's chances, Poonam says that while a Modi 'wave' swept the country in 2014, a Modi 'tsunami' will wash the opposition parties away in the current elections.
