‘Ridiculous’: BJP’s Bhubaneswar candidate on BJD’s special status demand

Former IAS officer and Bharatiya Janata Party candidate from Bhubaneswar, Aparajita Sarangi, opposes Biju Janata Dal's demand for special category status for Odisha. Responding with an 'emphatic no' to the prospect of an alliance with the BJD after the elections, Sarangi says that a partnership with a party not working in the people's interest is out of the question. She calls Prime Minister Narendra Modi her role model, stating that his style of functioning deeply influenced and inspired her during her tenure in the Central government as a bureaucrat.
