An activist surfer has paddled through plastic pollution to highlight the devastation of the world's waters. Environmentalist and reality TV star Alison Teal, 31, has released footage of her battle through a contaminated creek in Los Angles, USA. In the video, Alison works hard to make her way through the dirty water which is heaving with human waste. Alison said: “It took all of my strength to even paddle my board through the water because it was so saturated with plastic, polystyrene and other pollutants. Alison travels the world riding surfboards made out of recycled coffee cups and wearing bikinis made from recycled plastic bottles to bring awareness to environmental issues.
