Australian PM Anthony Albanese hails India ties says will host PM Modi soon again

Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese praised India’s rise as a global economic power, saying the country is on track to become the world’s third-largest economy this decade, calling it an “extraordinary opportunity” for the region. Highlighting the deepening India-Australia partnership, Albanese said ties between the two nations are being strengthened through trade, culture, education, and “the international language of cricket.” Reflecting on his personal connection with India, the Australian PM recalled first visiting the country as a backpacker in 1991 and described travelling by bus and train across India as a memorable experience that helped him understand the warmth of its people.
