Bhopal man arrested for fake Ram Temple fund drive

- A man was held for allegedly holding a fake donation collecting drive for Ram temple construction. Police said the man was cheating people by collecting donations unauthorisedly in Bhopal. Manish Rajput was collecting money from Ashoka Garden shopkeepers and issuing fake slips. Local VHP workers came to know of Rajput's handiwork and approached Ashoka Garden police. FIR has been lodged against Rajput, police said they have booked him under IPC section 420. Ram Janmabhoomi Teertha Kshetra Trust is overseeing the temple construction. It has authorised RSS and VHP to collect voluntary donations from people across the nation.
