‘Biased debates’: CJI's strong remarks amid backlash over SC remarks on Nupur

- Chief Justice of India NV Ramana slammed media for agenda-driven debates and termed them 'kangaroo courts. CJI said that such discourse is detrimental to the health of the democracy. CJI made these remarks while delivering the inaugural lecture instituted in the memory of Justice Satya Brata Sinha in Ranchi.
