Bill Gates heaps praise on PM Modi as India crosses 200 crore vaccine milestone

• Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates congratulates Prime Minister Narendra Modi for India's new vaccination milestone. Taking to Twitter, Gates shared a Hindustan Times report and said, ''Congratulations Narendra Modi for yet another milestone of administering 200 crore vaccinations. We are grateful for our continued partnership with Indian vaccine manufacturers and the Indian government for mitigating the impact of Covid-19.'' India achieved this milestone on Sunday. The govt has also launched a 'Covid Vaccination Amrit Mahotsav' drive to provide free jabs in order to mark the 75 years of india's independence. The free Covid booster shots for all adults will be available for 75 days from July 15 to September 30 at government vaccination centres. Watch this report for more details.
