Chandigarh Univ Row: Hostel warden out, 3 arrests, varsity shut for 7 days

• For the 2nd straight night, the Chandigarh University saw protests over the "MMS scandal". Students' demonstrations have gotten police in two states involved in the case. Protesting students were pressing for three demands, which have been met now. Three people have been arrested, including a Chandigarh University student. The warden of the hostel where the incident happened has also been suspended. The action comes after police assurances to protesting students to end their protest.
