Chess Champ Handa storms Twitter; Decries Punjab Minister over failed promises

• World chess Champion Malika Handa put out an angry post on Twitter slamming the Punjab sports minister. The Jalandhar-based deaf and dumb chess player, Handa, blamed the Punjab govt for failing to deliver on its promises. The world champion was visibly angry and hurt after being denied a job and cash reward by the Punjab sports minister. She said the minister, Pargat Singh, told her that the govt did not have any such policy for deaf sports. Watch full video.
