'China trying to strengthen its infrastructure along border areas': Himachal CM

• Himachal Pradesh CM Jairam Thakur said China is trying to strengthen its infrastructure in the Tibet region. He added that China has begun some 'surveillance activities' in its border area. “The forces are doing their job & working hard in difficult conditions along LAC. China is trying to strengthen its infrastructure in our border area. We are going to inform the Centre about China's activities. China has also begun some surveillance activities at a height higher than ours,” he said. Thakur visited forward areas along Chinese borders in Himachal’s Kinnaur & Lahaul-Spiti. The CM interacted with officers of ITBP, Dogra Scouts & 15th Bihar Regiment of the army.
