When will DU admissions 2021 begin amid Covid-19? V-C explains process

• Delhi University V-C said students will be admitted on the basis of marks received from boards. V-C PC Joshi said the registration process for admission to DU would start around July 15. V-C said students of all boards will be given equal opportunity during the admission process. This comes after CBSE class 12 board exams were cancelled in the shadow of Covid-19. “If you look at previous years, we give admission to students on the basis of merit. This time, the government decided to cancel Class 12 board exams in view of Covid-19. DU is with the government's decision because safety of the students is paramount. Whether it's CBSE or other boards, students will get admission on the basis of marks. This year, probably most of the boards will not take the exams due to Covid. We are going to start the registration process in Delhi University around July 15. Students of all boards will be given equal opportunity during the admission process,” the V-C said.
