Kashmir Valley on Friday observed a shutdown against the killings of two civilians in a gunfight in Srinagar's Hyderpora. The call for the shutdown was given by the both factions of All Parties Hurriyat Conference. Shops and commercial establishments were shut across the Valley. This as bodies of both the slain civilians were exhumed last evening in Handwara and handed over to their kin in Srinagar for reburial. Meanwhile, Gupkar Alliance leaders wrote a letter to President Ram Nath Kovind, seeking action against the accused officers for killing the civilians allegedly in cold-blood.
