IAF, Navy join hands with DRDO for CHAFF tech; Aim to protect warships, aircraft

Amid Russian invasion of Ukraine, the Indian Air Force and the Navy have tied up with the Defence Research Development Organisation to get CHAFF technology. This is in a bid to protect warships from an anti-ship missile during hostilities. India is the second country after the U.S to develop this ability. The development comes as the Indian navy is currently studying the sinking of Russian missile cruiser Moskva. Watch this video to find out more about CHAFF technology.
