- India always prepared for ‘worst case scenario’ to face Ukraine-Russia like protracted conflicts, IAF chief VR Choudhary told media. When asked about the IAF’s preparedness for longer duration conflicts, Chowdhury said, “Future conflicts could be short, fast, high intensity. They can be long, low-intensity, which is probably what we’re seeing. [in Russia-Ukraine], Or they can be lengthened with varying intensity depending on the global situation at that time.
