Former U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has claimed that China's aggressive actions at the LAC in Ladakh forced India to join the four-nation Quad grouping. In his book "Never Give an Inch: Fighting for the America I Love," Pompeo said that the Galwan clash forced India to change its strategic posture. He also called former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe the "father of Quad" and further praised former Australian PM Scott Morison for standing up against Chinese aggression in the Indo-Pacific.
