India to host U17 women’s football world cup 2022; FIFA ends suspension of AIFF

World football governing body FIFA has lifted the ban imposed on the All India Football Federation. FIFA had banned AIFF on August 14 owing 'to undue third-party influence.' The decision came days after the Supreme Court terminated the Committee of Administrators. The removal of the ban also means that the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup 2022 is scheduled to take place as planned on Oct 11-30. Watch this video to know more.
