- India has sent a strong message to Pakistan on forceful conversion. A Sikh woman was reportedly abducted from Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in August this year. She was then allegedly converted at gunpoint and married off to her abductor. After the National Commission for Minorities sought intervention from the Ministry of External Affairs, S Jaishankar responded to their letter saying that India had raised the issue with the Pakistan government through diplomatic channels. He also wrote that India had sought action in the deplorable crime. Watch this video for more information.
