Jets, Russian oil ban: Zelensky's appeal to Biden, U.S lawmakers | Ukraine war
Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky has made a phone call to U.S president Joe Biden amid Russia's offensive in Ukraine. In the phone call that lasted for half an hour, Zelensky sought more U.S military & financial support. Zelensky has also demanded further sanctions on Russia in a bid to mount pressure on Moscow to stop the war. Biden too highlighted his administration's efforts in providing military and humanitarian assistance to Kyiv. Earlier, Zelensky spoke to U.S lawmakers on the video call making similar demands. Meanwhile, U.S Secretary of State, Antony Blinken met his Ukrainian counterpart Dmytro Kuleba at the Ukraine-Polish border and assured more help. Watch this video to know more.
