Jodhpur violence: Curfew extended, nearly 100 arrested; Gehlot lashes BJP

Curfew continues in Rajasthan's Jodhpur after communal clashes on Eid. Curfew was extended till midnight today as CM Ashok Gehlot blamed the BJP for violence. Rajasthan police has arrested nearly 100 people in connection with the Eid violence in Jodhpur. Police said the situation is under control and no fresh incident of violence has been reported. Nearly 1000 cops have been deployed to maintain law & order as the CM assured strict action against the accused. Gehlot has trained guns at BJP, accusing it of defaming his govt and creating instability in the state. Earlier, the BJP had accused Gehlot's govt of failure and appeasement politics.
