'Lack of measurable...': India's strong message to Lanka on Tamil issue at UN

- India raises Sri Lankan Tamil issue at United Nations Human Rights Council. In a strong worded message to Colombo, New Delhi said that it is concerned about the lack of measurable progress by the government of Sri Lanka on their commitments to a political solution to the Tamil issue. After India raised its concerns, a top UNHRC official said that Sri Lanka should improve human rights & strengthen institutions to tackle humanitarian challenges.
