Lanka crisis: Modi Govt calls all-party meet, Jaishankar & Nirmala to brief MPs

- The Modi government will hold an all-party meeting on the current Sri Lanka economic crisis on Tuesday. The meeting will be chaired by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar. During an all-party meeting convened on Sunday ahead of the Monsoon session of Parliament, Tamil Nadu's DMK and AIADMK demanded India's intervention in the neighbouring country which is facing a debilitating economic crisis, reported news agency PTI.
