IIT graduate attacks policemen at Gorakhnath Temple; UP ATS probes terror angle

• Two policemen were injured after a man forcibly tried to enter the heavily guarded Gorakhnath temple on Sunday evening. The accused identified as Ahmed Murtaza who is a resident of Gorakhpur, carried sharp-edged weapon while entering the temple premises. Police overpowered him after a brief scuffle with the help of locals. Meanwhile, U.P police has not ruled out the terror angle and the case has been handed over to U.P ATS.
