Russia has started the delivery of third squadron of the S-400 surface-to-air missile defence system to India, according to a TOI report. The deliveries began in the new year after a delay. The report adds that India is managing payments for the systems despite Western sanctions hurting the induction and maintenance of the new equipment. In 2018, Russian President Vladimir Putin had signed a $ 5.43 billion contract to give India five S-400 squadrons by the ends of 2023. Watch this video for more.
