Pakistani Minister Shazia Marri issues a statement in response to India's nuclear threat. Shazia Marri now claims that "Pakistan is a responsible nuclear state, and some elements in India are trying to create panic." The climbdown comes a day after Marri issued a nuke threat to India while defending Pak Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto's comments at the UN. Bilawal Bhutto, in a highly objectionable comment, had said: "Osama Bin Laden is dead, but the butcher of Gujarat lives." The Indian government termed the comment "a new low, even for Pakistan."
