PM Modi meets Amit Shah, Rajnath, Ajit Doval after Taliban's Panjshir claim

- Prime Minister Narendra Modi called a high-level meeting on September 6 to reportedly discuss the Afghanistan situation. Home minister Amit Shah, defence minister Rajnath Singh, NSA Ajit Doval attended the meeting. The meeting was called at the PM's residence in New Delhi. Finance minister Nirmala Sitaraman, CDS Bipin Rawat were also present. Meanwhile, Taliban claimed control of Panjshir, the resistance base in Afghanistan. Resistance leader Ahmad Massoud called for a national uprising against the Taliban. The meeting in India comes after foreign secretary Harsh Vardhan Shringla spoke on Afghanistan during his US visit. Shringla said that India is closely watching Pakistan's actions in Afghanistan.
