Punjab Min 'forces' Medical Univ V-C to lie on dirty bed; ‘Humiliated’ he quits

• The Vice-Chancellor of Baba Farid University of Health Science, Dr Raj Bahadur resigned a day after Punjab Health Minister Chetan Singh Jouramajra asked him to lie on a dirty hospital bed during a surprise inspection at a civil hospital in Faridkot on Friday. Dr Raj Bahadur, reportedly, said that he felt humiliated by the state minister's action. The incident has drawn widespread condemnation from medical fraternity. The opposition too has hit out at Jourmajra and demanded CM Bhagwant Mann to sack him. Watch this video to know more.
