Rafale M or F-18 Super Hornet? India mulls options to buy fighters for Vikrant

Modi govt will be buying 26 fighter jets for the soon-to-be-inducted IAC Vikrant. The purchase of the jets will be made through a govt-to-govt basis. Rafale Marine from France's Dassault and US-made Boeing's F-18 super hornet are the main contenders for the indigenously built IAC Vikrant which is likely to be commissioned on 15th August by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
