Rahul Gandhi counters PM Modi’s ‘no content & intent’ jibe in Lok Sabha

• Rahul Gandhi launched a tirade against the Modi government’s farm laws during a discussion on the Union Budget 2021 in the Lok Sabha. Rahul countered the Prime Minister’s jibe saying the opposition had spoken more on the colour of the laws but not explained the content and intent of the laws. Rahul Gandhi alleged that the laws were designed to benefit a few people and would end up being as disastrous as demonetisation. BJP MPs objected and created ruckus in the house saying that the discussion was supposed to be on the Union Budget. After several disruptions, the Congress leader ended his speech by observing a minute of silence for the farmers who have died during the protests at Delhi’s borders against the farm laws.
