Ranchi top cop gets notice for posters of suspects from Prophet protest violence

- A day after Jharkhand police put up posters carrying photographs of those allegedly involved in the recent violent protests in Ranchi, the state government has issued a show cause notice to the senior police superintendent Surendra Jha. The govt has termed it illegal and violation of right to privacy. The notice cited a January 2020 Allahabad high court order. These posters were put up across the capital Ranchi after June 10 Prophet insult protest that claimed 2 lives. Watch this report to know more.
