- Dr Seema Khosla, a pulmonologist, sleep medicine specialist, medical director of the North Dakota Center for Sleep and spokesperson for the American Academy for Sleep Medicine, discusses why it is that we do not take sleep as seriously as we should. We’re a binge-watching, binge-playing, room scrolling species where the lines between consumption and over-consumption have blurred, even in the very young.
