‘Surgical strike…’: Amit Shah explains the message India delivered to Pak

- Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday said the 2016 surgical strikes across the Line of Control (LoC) demonstrated that the era of talks was over and that of “a fitting response”, started. "Surgical strike under PM Modi and former defence minister Manohar Parrikar was an important step. We sent out a message that no one can disturb India's borders. There was a time for talks, But now is the time to reciprocate," Shah said. He was speaking at the foundation laying ceremony of the National Forensic Sciences University in Goa's Dharbandora.
