'The Kashmir Files' storm reaches Rajya Sabha as MPs' spar over Kashmiri Pandits

There was a faceoff in Parliament between ruling BJP and opposition members over the issue of Kashmiri Pandits and recently released 'The Kashmir Files' movie. This after BJP MP Anil Jain raised the matter of the Pandit exodus and killings and praised the movie directed by Vivek Agnihotri. He lashed Congress and National Conference for allegedly abandoning Hindus in 1990 in Kashmir. RJD MP Manoj Jha called for the reconciliation between Hindus and Muslims in Kashmir as he invoked other killings including those of Sikhs in 1984 and Gujarat riots of 2002. Shiv Sena MP Priyanka Chaturvedi slammed the BJP for allegedly politicising the tragedy of of Kashmiri Pandits.
