'They're brave..': Kashmir University VC, Prof Nilofer Khan, on Hindu students

- In a historic move last month, Jammu and Kashmir L-G Manoj Sinha appointed Prof Nilofer Khan as the first woman as the Vice Chancellor of University of Kashmir. In an interview to Hindustan Times, Prof Khan spoke on a range of issues including her vision for the varsity's growth and academic excellence. The appointment of Prof Khan comes at a time when Hindu minority including Kashmiri Pandits are being targeted by terrorists. Asked about the safety of the non-Muslim students of the varsity, the Kashmir University Vice Chancellor said that they are brave enough to face the challenge. She also answered a series of questions on alleged terror links of some varsity staffers and the pro-separatist student politics on the campus. Watch the full interview.
