The most used decor item at Dum Dum Park Bharat Chakra pandal was chappal (slippers). The pandal, which is in the making, has also depicted the recent Lakhimpur Kheri incident. Pandal's entrance has a tractor connected with huge wings, symbolising farmers' victory. A printed car with two actual tires shows farmers being run over, highlighting the Lakhimpur incident. A paddy field surrounding the idol has been made to depict the importance of agriculture. In addition, an enlarged foot bearing the faces of several farmers has also been put up. This year, Durga Puja will be celebrated from October 11 to October 15.
