PM Modi visited the Sabarmati Ashram in Ahmedabad and paid tributes to the father of the nation. He garlanded a portrait of the father of the nation and also wrote in the visitor’s diary at the Ashram. He also visited Hriday Kunj, the house in the Ashram where Mahatma Gandhi stayed with his wife Kasturba from 1918 to 1930. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is in Gujarat to flag off the Dandi March as part of the Amrit Mahotsav programme to mark 75 years of India’s independence.
