In a unique collaboration, the South Korean and Uttar Pradesh governments are building a park in the temple town of Ayodhya in honour of an ancient princess. The princess, who lived around 2,000 years ago, is said to have travelled to Korea and married King Kim Suro. Shin Bongkil, the South Korean ambassador to India, said that around 10% of Koreans can trace a connection to India. The park is expected to be opened on Diwali this year.
