Will Dinesh Trivedi join BJP ahead of polls? Kailash Vijayvargiya responds

• TMC MP Dinesh Trivedi has resigned from the Rajya Sabha. During the announcement, Trivedi said that he felt suffocated in the party and added that he would continue to work for the people of his state and the country. Speculations are now rife that Trivedi could be the latest in a host of TMC leaders to switch over to the BJP ahead of the crucial assembly elections in the state. Speaking on Trivedi’s resignation, BJP leader Kailash Vijayvargiya said that no self-respecting person can stay in the TMC.
