Mirabai Chanu didn’t expect such a record-shattering show at CWG 2018

With a record shattering performance India's Mirabai Chanu bagged the country's first gold medal at the 2018 Commonwealth Games, winning the women's 48kg weightlifting event in Gold Coast on Thursday. She set a CWG record with a total combined weight of 196 kg, lifting two more than her previous mark. “I expected a medal coming into the CWG but didn't expect I would break the record.
