USA Losing Key Mid-East Ally? Iraq Hails Iran, Snubs America Amid Bid To End Foreign Troop Presence

Amid his campaign to make foreign troops withdraw from Iraq, the country's prime minister Mohammed Shia Al Sudani praised USA's arch-nemesis Iran in an interview published on March 3. Al Sudani praised Iran for its help in the war against ISIS. Currently, Al Sudani is trying to make a US-led military coalition exit Iraq.
