US President Joe Biden comes up with an arms sale plan for Taiwan amid the island's tensions with China. According to Politico, the Biden administration plans to ask the U.S. Congress to approve an estimated $1.1 Billion arms sale to island nation Taiwan. The proposed arms sale by the Biden administration will include 60 anti-ship missiles and 100 air-to-air missiles, Politico reported. The arms sale 'proposal' comes on the heels of US Navy missile cruiser USS Chancellorsville (CG 62) sailing through the Taiwan Strait. The US navy called it 'routine' transit through the strategic waterway. However, this angered China and Xi Jinping govt warned the US against being a 'troublemaker'. Watch this report to know more.
