Lithuanian couple win World Wife Carrying Championship in Finland

Now in it's 23rd year, the World Wife Carrying Championship in Finland, draws competitors from all over the world. 39 couples from 13 countries from as far away as Australia and the USA crossed the 2018 starting line. The challenge ahead of them a course of 253.5m with various obstacles. The minimum weight of the wife to be carried is 49kg. Underweight women must carry a rucksack containing additional weight.
