Putin’s ‘hottest’ onslaught in East Ukraine scares Zelensky; Russia eyes South

Russia has stepped up its onslaught in East Ukraine as war anniversary approaches. Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky has said that the situation at the frontline is the 'hottest' and Ukraine was strengthening the perimeter in the South. This comes as Ukraine claimed that over 1000 Russian troops were killed in the last 24 hours amid the fierce battles.
