US Federal appeals court refuses to reinstate travel ban

Federal appeals courts on Thursday refused to reinstate President Donald Trump's ban on travellers from seven predominantly Muslim nations. The panel of three judges from the 9th US circuit court of appeals declined to block a lower-court ruling. Last week a US district judge James Robart in Seattle issued a temporary restraining order halting the ban after Washington State and Minnesota sued.
