Musharraf favours forming new anti-terror law
Pakistan President General Pervez Musharraf on Friday directed officials to frame a new anti-terror law to tackle rising militancy and extremism. He also offered to provide an elite commando squad to protect former premier Benazir Bhutto in the wake of a suicide attack on her motorcade in Karachi. Musharraf also telephoned Bhutto to offer his condolences over the death of her party supporters in the deadly blasts.
